The Key User is within the complete Business Unit responsible for the implementation, and afterwards optimal and correct use of the WMS (Warehouse Management system). You are the first- and second-line support and help users throughout the complete Business Unit to solve operational problems. You answer WMS-related questions and train the end users in the use of the WMS system. In this position you will report to the Manager Continuous Improvement and you will work together in a team of Key Users WMS colleagues.

 

What you do on a typical day
•    You identify, research and formulate functional requests for our Business Unit
•    You take care of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
•    You draw up procedures, reports and work instructions to support the chosen solution(s)
•    You train the end users and supervise the implementation and ensure that these procedures and work instructions are complied with

What you need to succeed at GXO
Besides a very accurate and analytical method, you are communicative and proactive! With your critical and foresight view, you identify the consequences of certain actions in good time and help you think about solutions. You are good at dealing with dynamics and switch quickly with the parties involved. You also have more than sufficient Excel knowledge.

In addition, you bring the necessary knowledge and experience with you:
•    MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably with an IT-related background;
•    At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
•    You have strong communication skills, have educational qualities and fit within a fast-paced and "hands-on" culture;
•    Knowledge of WMS functionalities and (UAT) testing of these applications;
•    You are alert, accurate, stress resistant, flexible and have great problem-solving skills;
•    Knowledge of hardware is a plus;
•    Good command of the Dutch & English language, spoken and written,
•    A huge plus if you have knowledge of Reflex Web (WMS);
