This role provides you a wide and varied role with a very interesting remit; you will build, manage and nurture relationships at all levels with senior team members at some of our key partners organisations, providing strong links between our operational teams and the partner organisations. You will be working within an international company with headquarters in Amsterdam, Denver and Melbourne. The European headquarter is located in Amsterdam. The company serves tens of thousands of small businesses across the world by building their websites, launching their paid search campaigns and creating power content. The organization consists of 150 employees and a large network of creative freelance professionals. It is a group of fun, young and energetic colleagues who all are passionate about ideas, technology and contributing to the success of their clients.

What can you expect from a role as a Partner Account Manager?

  • You will be reporting directly to the Director of Operations (Europe & USA)
  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with existing partners, including preparing key data for weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews – you must be across the data at all times
  • You will have strong and clear growth targets to improve revenue by launching new products with your partner organisations and have direct input into the quality of the products and contact.
  • Lead and engage other teams in the business to seamlessly project manage new partner launches or product/process additions (IT, Product & Marketing, Design, Copywriting, Finance), as well as coordination with the partner organisation
  • Impeccably manage volume forecast and business revenue targets, finding innovative ways to close gaps through the ebbs and flows of order intake numbers
  • Developing and tracking project plans, including day-to-day management and regular reviews with the Product/Technical/Fulfilment teams
  • Ensure the Operations team and contact centre employees have up to the minute information on products and processes required to delight the partner’s customers.

The role as a Partner Account Manager suits you well if you have experience in the digital market, particularly with website products, and developing a business. Technical and project management experience would certainly help with your application, but great negotiating and presentation skills are truly essential.
 

Wat krijg jij?

  • You excel in professional communication at all levels, because all communications to the partners must be positive and proper.
  • Project Management experience. You will own the success of commercially lucrative, strategic contracts for our business
  • Positive persuasion and negotiation techniques must be well-honed. This is not a sales role, but there is an ongoing requirement to retain and develop key partnerships.
  • You have experience in digital marketing.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is essential, both spoken and written. Other European languages would be strongly welcomed.
