Within the casino there are a number of different departments, such as Food and Beverage, Slot Machines, Table Games and Services. You are the face of the casino and you carry this out in the service. 'The guest is king' and you know how to anticipate this flawlessly and to give everyone the unforgettable experience that Holland Casino likes to radiate. No two days are the same at the casino, which makes for a fun and dynamic working environment.

What can you expect from the work?
In the Food and Beverage department you will have a number of main tasks, but in addition you will ultimately be multifunctional and there may also be other duties.

Main tasks:
• Explaining the menu to the guests and taking the orders.
• Preparing snacks or small dishes.
• Serving drinks, snacks and dishes.

Multifunctional tasks:
• Answering questions from guests.
• Giving basic explanations about the games.
• Accompanying arrangements (reception, guiding to game tables and restaurant).
• Signalling and reporting malfunctions on the machines.
• Keeping the rooms clean and tidy.
• Collecting and issuing cloakroom pieces.


Waar ga je werken?

The casino is located in the heart of the city centre on the Leidseplein, opposite the Vondelpark. The bustling capital of the Netherlands, known for its miles of canals, narrow gabled houses, museums with works by famous painters and its many shopping streets. A huge tourist attraction where people like to spend a great evening at the casino in between shopping or after a bite to eat.

Wat vragen wij?

Of course, this also means that we ask something of you:

• Flexibility in deployment.
• Immediately available.
• Extremely hospitable and able to give this feeling to the guests.
• Experience in the hospitality industry.
• No visible tattoos on hands and/or face.
• Minimum 2 days a week available of which 1 day in the weekend.
• The screening process includes the request for a Certificate of Good Behaviour (VOG) and for this you don't need to have been in contact with the judicial authorities. Application takes about two weeks.

We offer the following:

• A starting salary of €14 gross per hour, but due to allowances you will be earning around €16.80 gross per hour.
• Weekly pay on the Wednesday, with a commuter week.
• Travel allowance of €0,19 per kilometer, with a maximum of €7,98 per day, public transport is 100% reimbursed.
• Start paying into a pension scheme from 8 weeks worked.
