Introductie
As a service technician, you independently install, maintain and repair machines on location, working for one technical company in the Netherlands. Indication: €20 to €28 gross per hour, depending on your experience and the client. Do you need housing? Then we arrange it, always with your own bedroom. We first discuss your experience and wishes, including schedule and work environment. Then we find the client that suits you.
Waar je komt te werken:
You will work for one technical company in the Netherlands. This could be a machine builder, a supplier of production or packaging machines, or a technical service company. From there, you travel to customers. The size of the team and who supervises you differ per client. We tell you this in advance.
How it works: we first discuss your experience and wishes, including schedule and work environment. Then we look at which client suits you best and introduce you there. If you are hired, you start working there. The goal is that you stay there.
Wat je gaat doen:
Your exact tasks depend on the client. Your work usually includes the following:
- You install new machines at customer sites and put them into operation
- You carry out preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules
- You find and fix faults, both mechanical and electrical
- You replace parts and adjust machines
- You work with technical drawings and electrical diagrams
- You record your work on a work order or in a service app and inform the customer
Practical:
- Location: at one client in the Netherlands, which we choose together. From there, you drive to customers.
- Schedule: usually day shifts, sometimes with on-call duty. We agree on your schedule and work environment together in advance, so you know where you stand when you start.
- Prefer to work days only, without on-call duty? Then we look for a client that fits that.
- Working conditions: these differ per client and we discuss them with you in advance. Expect a lot of travel, work in noisy production halls, sometimes tight spaces or work at height, and lifting up to approx. 25 kg.
- Start: by arrangement.
Wat wij vragen:
- At least 3 years of experience as a service technician, field service engineer or in technical maintenance
- You independently find and fix faults, mechanical and electrical, using drawings and diagrams
- Driving licence B
- Safety certificate (VCA or equivalent)
- In possession of an EU passport — a residence permit is not sufficient
- You speak English well enough to communicate clearly at work
Nice to have:
- NEN 3140 (Dutch electrical safety standard)
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of PLC controls
Wat wij bieden:
- Indication: €20 to €28 gross per hour. Your exact wage depends on your experience and the client, and can be higher or lower
- Need housing? Then we arrange it, always with your own bedroom. Your own contribution is deducted from your wage. Already have your own place to live? That works too
- Contract via EU Force, with the intention of long-term employment
- Weekly pay
- At least 8% holiday pay and at least 24 holiday days
- At least 23.4% pension premium on the pension base, of which you contribute 7.5% (deducted before tax)
- Health insurance via EU Force possible, the costs are deducted from your wage
- Travel allowance if you use your own transport. Transport via EU Force is possible for a personal contribution
