Introductie
As a truck mechanic, you maintain and repair trucks and trailers at one truck workshop in the Netherlands. Indication: €17 to €23 gross per hour, depending on your experience and the client. Do you need housing? Then we arrange it, always with a private bedroom. We first discuss your experience and wishes, including schedule and work environment, and find the client that suits you.

You work at one company with its own truck workshop in the Netherlands. Think of a truck dealer, a transport company with its own workshop or a trailer builder. The size of the team and who supervises you differ per client. We tell you this in advance.
We first discuss your experience and wishes, including schedule and work environment. Then we look at which client suits you best and introduce you there. If you are hired, you start working there, with the goal that you stay there.
Wat je gaat doen:
Your exact tasks depend on the client. Your work usually includes the following:
- You carry out maintenance and services on trucks and trailers
- You find faults with diagnostic equipment and fix them
- You repair engines, brakes, drivetrain and suspension
- You check and repair electrical and electronic systems
- You prepare vehicles for the APK (Dutch annual roadworthiness test)
- You record your work and the parts used on the work order
Practical:
- Location and work environment: one truck dealer, transport company or trailer builder in the Netherlands. We choose which one together.
- Schedule: day shift, 2-shift or on-call service. We agree on this together in advance, so you know where you stand when you start. Prefer to work days only? Then we look for a client with day shifts.
- Working conditions: these differ per client and we discuss them with you in advance. Expect standing work, working under the vehicle or in a pit, oil and dirt, lifting up to approx. 25 kg and cold in the workshop in winter.
Wat wij vragen:
- At least 1 year of experience as a mechanic on trucks, trailers or heavy equipment
- You can find faults using diagnostic equipment
- In possession of an EU passport — a residence permit is not sufficient
- You speak English well enough to communicate clearly at work
Nice to have:
- Driving licence C or CE
- Safety certificate (VCA or equivalent)
- Experience with welding
Wat wij bieden:
- Indication: €17 to €23 gross per hour. Your exact wage depends on your experience and the client, and can be higher or lower
- Need housing? Then we arrange it, always with a private bedroom. Your own contribution is deducted from your wage. Already have your own place to live? That works too
- Contract via EU Force, with the intention of long-term employment
- Weekly salary payment
- At least 8% holiday pay and at least 24 holiday days
- Pension: at least 23.4% premium on the pension base, of which you contribute 7.5% (deducted before tax)
- Health insurance via EU Force possible, the costs are deducted from your wage
- Travel allowance if you use your own transport. No own transport? Then transport via EU Force is possible for a personal contribution
