Are you someone who loves to roll up their sleeves and feels right at home on a forklift? You will start working for one of our clients in Amsterdam, active in the transport and logistics sector. For them, we are looking for an enthusiastic warehouse worker! A job with fixed working hours from Monday to Friday, where you and your colleagues put your shoulders to the wheel every single day.
At 08:00, you give your workday a proper kickstart with a good cup of coffee and a meeting that is short, sweet, and to the point. Everyone completely up-to-date? Then it is time to hit the gas! The first trucks are already waiting at the dock. You hop onto the forklift and ensure a smooth and safe handling of the loading and unloading process. In between, you dive into the CMR waybills, print out the right shipping labels, and get new shipments completely ready for departure. No two days in the warehouse are the same, but one thing is certain: at 17:00 your workday is done and you head home feeling satisfied.
Werkzaamheden: (Responsibilities)

Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently with the forklift.

Reading, checking, and processing CMR waybills.

Printing and placing shipping labels in the right spot.

Preparing, checking, and staging goods for transport.

Checking incoming and outgoing freight for any damages and correct quantities.

Keeping the warehouse safe, tidy, and well-organized.
Wij zoeken: (What we are looking for)

Demonstrable experience on a forklift (a valid forklift certificate is a great plus, or you can simply get one through us).

Experience with reading CMR documents and processing shipping labels.

A real go-getter with a hands-on, no-nonsense mentality.

Someone who works accurately, keeps an overview, and has an eye for safety on the work floor.

Availability from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00.

Good communication skills to work smoothly with your colleagues and the drivers.

A salary between € 2,750 and € 3,300 gross per month (based on 40 hours according to scale C of the cao Beroepsgoederenvervoer), matching your experience.

A full-time job with fixed daytime hours (08:00 - 17:00) at an easily accessible location in Amsterdam.
