This customer has a passion for growing the tastiest root vegetables and processing them in a fair manner. In the 5000 m² company building, the roots are processed in various shapes and sizes. The modern machinery is efficiently arranged as a streamlined processing line, with hygiene and food safety always at the forefront. Processing the root vegetables may include washing, polishing, sorting, cutting, peeling, scraping, and packaging. You will work together with one other technician in the technical service.
Your tasks:
- Being responsible for the (preventive) maintenance of all machines, installations, equipment, and buildings at the two locations in Kraggenburg.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and directly resolving malfunctions when necessary.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance machine performance.
- Tackling mechanical challenges and providing support for questions regarding electronics and control systems.
- Proactively thinking about technical improvements for machines and installations.
Wat verwachten wij?
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Our production departments operate in 2 shifts. You do not participate in the shifts, but you are flexible regarding working hours.
- You are willing to join your colleagues in a troubleshooting service.
- Sometimes, (major) maintenance on certain machines or installations can only be scheduled on weekends. Therefore, you are willing to work on weekends in consultation.
- You are willing to further develop yourself by attending professional training or courses.
- You speak good English (required).
- You possess a driving license B.
Wat bieden wij jou
Good Salary:
- Gross per hour: €20
- Net per week: €600
The net weekly salary is after deducting costs for housing and health insurance.
