For an international fashion brand with its headquarters in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Senior Specialist, Brand Media. This is an exciting opportunity for a paid media professional with strong experience in programmatic, video, audio, display, and out-of-home media to help drive brand visibility and audience engagement across Europe. Deadline for submissions is Monday 13th of July EOB.

The Department and Team:

The Brand Media team is responsible for increasing brand visibility and driving consideration for the company’s brand and products. The team strategically plans and purchases media placements, using data, creativity, and partnerships to maximize reach and impact. By staying ahead of industry trends, the team ensures the brand stands out and connects effectively with its target audience. The goal is to make every media investment meaningful and support the brand’s long-term impact in the market.

The Position

The Senior Specialist, Brand Media will support and drive the strategy and execution of paid media across various channels, including display, video, audio, and out-of-home media, for the company’s European market.

This role will be responsible for full-funnel activation across upper- and mid-funnel campaigns, ensuring strong brand visibility, audience engagement, and qualified traffic generation across channels. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with programmatic and video platforms, strong audience and storytelling capabilities, and the ability to translate media performance into actionable insights and recommendations.

In this role, the candidate will become an integral part of the in-house Brand Media team and contribute directly to the company’s digital excellence and growth across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute paid media campaigns across display, video, audio, and out-of-home environments, including campaign setup, timelines, deliverables, trafficking, optimization, and reporting across platforms and partners.
  • Develop and activate upper- and mid-funnel media strategies that align with overall brand and business objectives, driving brand visibility, audience engagement, and qualified traffic generation.
  • Serve as the programmatic media expert for campaign setup, platform strategy, optimization, audience targeting, and performance across display and video channels.
  • Create and apply effective targeting, retargeting, sequencing, and storytelling strategies to drive audience progression across the funnel.
  • Collaborate closely with paid social counterparts to ensure complementary audience strategies and cohesive cross-channel activation.
  • Review campaign performance and translate results into actionable recommendations, audience learnings, sequencing insights, out-of-home learnings, and creative effectiveness insights to inform future campaigns and best practices.
  • Contribute to test-and-learn roadmaps across formats, partners, platforms, and emerging media opportunities, while staying informed on media trends, technologies, and best practices across display, video, audio, out-of-home, and publisher ecosystems.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has 3+ years of hands-on experience in paid media buying, planning, and activation across programmatic platforms, including DV360, and open web environments.
  • Brings strong expertise across display, video, audio, and/or out-of-home channels, with experience managing campaigns across DSPs, video platforms, premium publishers, and media partners.
  • Has a deep understanding of audience targeting, sequencing, retargeting, and storytelling strategies across the funnel.
  • Understands campaign setup, optimization, reporting, measurement, and how to translate performance into actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Is experienced in collaborating with external agencies, publishers, media partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative working style.
  • Has experience in an in-house media team, ecommerce environment, or digital agency, with a passion for innovation and emerging media opportunities.
