Are you ready to bring global retail concepts to life across EMEA? For a leading fashion brand with its headquarters in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Junior Specialist Concept Implementation to support the development and rollout of inspiring store and Shop-in-Shop concepts. In this role, you will help translate global brand ideas into practical, scalable, and cost-effective store solutions that strengthen the customer experience and brand presence across the region. The Team

The Store Development team delivers high-quality store projects across EMEA. The team adapts global brand ideas to local needs and manages store and Shop-in-Shop projects from start to finish. These projects help to strengthen the brand and improve the customer experience.

The team is an important part of Store Development and SD Supply Chain. It works closely with Brands, Global Concept, Visual Merchandising, Expansion, Finance, and Global Store Development to create a strong store experience. This role is an important part of the team and supports the department’s success and future growth.

The Position

The Junior Specialist Concept Implementation supports the EMEA Store Development team by turning global brand concepts into practical, technical, and cost-effective solutions for stores and Shop-in-Shop projects.

In this role, the Junior Specialist works closely with global and regional brand teams, Store Development, and local markets to adapt concept designs, blueprints, operation manuals, and sell-in tools to EMEA needs. The role also supports Project Management teams in delivering consistent, compliant, and brand-aligned store designs across the region.

By connecting global concepts with regional requirements, this role helps improve the customer experience, strengthen brand presence, and support in-store revenue across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of scalable store and Shop-in-Shop concept elements, including technical details, fixtures, visual solutions, and presentations that meet functional, operational, commercial, and brand needs.
• Create visualisations, renderings, and presentations to explain concept designs and align expectations with EMEA stakeholders.
• Review and optimise concept designs for cost, scalability, technical feasibility, sustainability, and EMEA market requirements.
• Develop, update, and maintain EMEA concept guidelines, blueprints, and architectural details to support a consistent and efficient rollout across the region.
• Work with Brand Execution and Brand teams to specify standard items, align concepts with the global design framework, and share updates when changes are made.
• Support bespoke design solutions and advise Store Development and Shop-in-Shop teams on project-specific requirements across a high project volume.
• Help develop tier, store format, Shop-in-Shop format, and consumer experience strategies in line with EMEA brand priorities and the global design framework.
• Review market concept requests, support the rollout of new concepts and concept items, and contribute to standards and procedures that improve the design process.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in architectural design, concept design, or concept implementation, ideally within a multi-market retail environment.
• Experience in designing architectural solutions, stores, or store concepts across different locations and formats is a plus.
• Good understanding of retail design principles, store planning, and customer journeys.
• Ability to solve problems, assess different solutions, and make practical recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect creative and technical topics clearly.
• Ability to share information clearly with internal and external stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, rendering tools, and MS Office. Knowledge of AI design tools is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
