First things first! It is important that you live within 30 kilometers from Arnhem, have a valid permanent work visa to work in the Netherlands and are fluent in Dutch and English. If this is not the case, we ask you not to apply.
As QC Lab Engineer you keep te laboratory and instruments available for testing. You are busy all day with different tests and materials. A clear and tidy space is therefore of great importance. At least as important is that you analyze test results and share them with the technical team.
The tasks you perform include:
- Regular sampling and manages them for track record and reference purposes;
- Performing tests on the sampling in accordance with test procedure;
- Keeping track of test data and reports on results;
- Long-term analyses on obtained data;
- Analyzing and validating the incoming raw materials;
- Manages and administrates the sampling process including the shipment to customers.
Wat breng jij als QC Lab Engineer
What we would like to see in our new SC Lab Engineer is as follows:
- Bachelor Chemical Engineering or Chemistry and/or long-term proven experience in related work field (at least 3 years);
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; specific experience with working with machine software;
- Proficient in Dutch and English languages;
- Laboratory expertise focused on polymers and in particular rubber polymers;
- Knowledge of measuring instruments belonging to the Tyromer and specifically those for analysis of rubber;
- Data processing and control of the necessary software of measurement data;
- Communication skills to communicate results well to the organization and to be able to adjust where necessary;
- Data analysis with statistics techniques, SPC and DOE (Design of Experiments).
