Fokker Techniek (Woensdrecht), as a former aircraft manufacturer, can rely on a rich history in Aviation. Based on this history and expertise they design, certify and maintain the most modern aircraft flying in the air today. Hereby combining both the field of MRO and Special mission aircraft (for outfitting and engineering).

Within the field of Aircraft- and Component MRO Fokker Techniek presents themselves as a one-stop-shop maintenance organization being able to deliver the client a full package in regards to maintenance, refits and repairs.

The experienced employees at Fokker Techniek perform the full range of maintenance inspections. From minor modifications up to heavy maintenance. All within the scope of approval of Fokker Techniek.

Functie

As the Business Transformation Leader you will effectively drive a Continuous Improvement (CI) framework with all departments of one of the sites within the Fokker Services Group (Hoogerheide or Hoofddorp). You facilitate the adoption of lean six sigma methodology and train personnel through an in-house program. You act as a partner for the departments by organizing, planning and executing CI projects and activities and verify the ROI (Return of Investment) by setting targets and measuring performance. You ensure continuity by managing, and reporting on progress made in the CI portfolio.

Furthermore, you will be part of the Global Excellence (GE) community in which you have peers on every site with whom you will drive best practices across the sites of the Fokker Services Group. You will be travelling for this role and report directly to the Managing Director of the site.

Among other responsibilities you will:

• Set up and drive a three year rolling improvement road map;
• Setup and provide Lean Six Sigma training program;
• Help stakeholders with thorough analysis to get to the root of the problem and devise fitting solutions;
• Successfully lead Continuous Improvement (CI) Projects with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize operational performance, achieve cost savings and decrease TAT across the value chains;
• Ensure the continuity of the Continuous Improvement pipeline by engaging with the business;
• Capture, measure, and monitor status and benefits of the CI portfolio.

Functie-eisen

• A relevant bachelor (aircraft maintenance) technical degree;
• You are in the possession of a Bachelor/Master, preferable related to Aerospace/Aviation
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• You have a keen eye for improvement and are always looking for ways to do things smarter;
• Experience with cultural programs next to Lean Six Sigma;
• Excellent people skills, a motivator and strong team player.

Besides this you possess excellent communication skills, presentation- and facilitation skills. You have a strong personality with a no-nonsense attitude and can-do mentality.
