We are currently looking for Contracts and Procurement Assistant as a contractor. Based in Hoofddorp you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering contractors within the Energy transition industry.

This company designs and build projects in the Netherlands, Europe and worldwide. Our international client has been operating in the Netherlands for more than 55 years, providing professional and technical solutions to deliver safe, well‑executed, capital‑efficient engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects throughout Europe and around the world. They are a major player in the oil, gas,  petrochemical and energy sectors! They have beautiful projects all over the world and about 30,000 people work worldwide. This mainly includes a lot of technical and specialized personnel. In the Netherlands you have to think of a few hundred employees. There are currently several projects going on for which they need an Contracts and Procurement Assistent! 

In this position as an Contracts and Procurement Assistent you will work closely with the team, with minimum supervision and  handling any and all administrative responsibilities as assigned. You will assisting Buyers/Contract Engineers in assembling documents for RFQ’s and  PO’s. Your administrative duties to include but are not limited to: Send out flowers and gifts required, issue of staffing you will have to report. General office duties including, issuing dept. related announcements, creating and maintaining department files, assist with archiving of files, internal order of office equipment/software requirements. 

You will use a web based customized Contract Management tool, but also will be using SAP and Coreworx. You will provide access to users of these systems and Procurement based programs.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support in a team environment
  • Maintain contact list for Department and organigrams
  • Organise rooms for Department meetings, outings & retiree events and support with gathering data for Employee Pin lunches and assist with co-ordination of supplier/contractor meetings
  • Assist with Catering for events and arrange lunch vouchers, when needed
  • Issue, distribution, administration and filing of all CM & Procurement related documents, hardcopy and electronically

  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in standard software used in word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, e-mail file management/storage and database management (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Workday, Visio)
