Application Engineer in Arnhem

As an Application Engineer you are willing to travel around the world to visit customer site when needed. This is because you are the technical coordinator in the acquisition, implementation, and realization phases of FC system projects. You will work together with the project manager to assure the project meets the technical specifications. You keep all stakeholders such as the customer, suppliers, notified bodies, and the internal sales and engineering department up to date and happy.

Other tasks of our Application Engineer are:

• You supply Technical support of sales and Sales Support at the tender stage;
• You lead the technical integration of FC system(s) and/or configuration of FC System(s) by clearly defining the interfaces between product and customer;
• You coordinate definition and implementation of necessary design upgrades;
• You act as technical lead in the approval of FC system(s) integration in industry and maritime applications at customers;
• You participate in risk assessments with the customer;
• You create customer specific documentation and training program(s) for all relevant stakeholders.

Wat breng jij als Application Engineer

As an Application Engineer you need strong communication skills and analytical abilities. You take responsibility and are pro-active. 

• You have a bachelor in Engineering in a relevant field and additional experience.
• We would like to see 5+ years' experience in a similar position;
• You are able to participate in safety engineering sessions (FMEA/ Hazop / HazID).
• You have experienced with the multiple engineering disciplines associated with FC systems.
