Your Mission

SPECTO Aerospace has set on a journey to make its organisation, support and services ready for the future demand & challenges ahead. To support SPECTO’s journey we are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to strengthen the commercial department in our Lelystad facility.

As a Business Development Manager you will proactively create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers  in EMEA (“your relation has your number on speed dial”).  You will create and oversee a portfolio of assigned prospects & customers, develop new business and actively seek new long term sales opportunities. You will also answer queries and will automatically liaise with internal teams. In your role as Business Development Manager you will visit your customers and prospects regularly on site and attend several MRO events (up to 35%).

Together with our technical Team you will ensure the timely and successful delivery of our support and services according to customer needs, objectives and/or contracts, as you believe in keeping promise and delivering quality.

Ultimately, a successful Business Development Manager should identify market trends, opportunities with (future) customers and you are able to achieve business goals. You will report to the Director Marketing & Sales. Together you will form the commercial team within SPECTO Aerospace.


Your Luggage

To be successful in this role, you have a passion for sales in a technical environment! Furthermore you have a bachelor working and thinking level, ideally, you will have a bachelor degree in the field of Business Administration or Technology. You preferably have 3 to 10 years working experience in a related position within a MRO Aerospace environment. You have real hunter skills and are able to build lasting relationships with your (future) customer based on personality. You live in The Netherlands and are able to communicate in English (verbal and in writing).
